Teaching Focus:

The focus of teaching will be on helping students know the methods of writing using the five basic English sentence types of simple sentence and grasp the ways of content-transformation helping them to write, as well as knowing how to combine two simple sentences into a clause.

Anticipated Difficulties:

It would be hard for students to combine simple sentences into a clause and it could be difficult for them to write a passage using English-thinking ways instead of Chinese-thinking ways.
