Teaching Procedures:

Step1. Review

Let the students watch the pictures and say : What are good manners?

Teacher: (1) introduce some ways in greeting.

(2) Look at the pictures , and we all know some of people sometimes cross the road when the traffic light is read , especially in China. :

Which behavior is right?

Can you tell me more manners? Use we should or we shouldn’t

Step2. Lead-in

Teacher: Look at the sign of WeChat , and this is the talk with my good friend Molly in the Uk. I want to know more about good manners in the UK, so I asked her. If you are Molly, think about how to answer?

Students talk in groups and fill in these blanks. Then show answers.

Step3. Presentation

1. Teacher: Please open your books and pay attention to these two questions…

2. Teacher: Read the passage again in the book and make the mind map in groups.

Students: One group write the mind map on the blackboard.

3. Teacher: Let’s think a question: Comparing the UK, talk about the manners in China.
