Designing aims

Step1: Review and lead in

Watch a short video and talk about it.

T:Pollution is one of the biggest problems in the world today. Everyone can do something to make a difference to the environment. What can we do to protect the environment in our daily lives?

T:Great!Most of you have good daily habits. We can do a lot in our daily lives. And we can also learn a lot from others’ daily habits. Today we are going to learn more good daily habits from Sandy and Daniel’s survey.(Explain: survey)

自由谈话直接导入主题,在唤醒学生对已学知识的记忆的同时,激活学生的思维,营造轻松的学习氛围。

Step2: Listen--A1&A2

A1 T:Learning is improving. Let’s learn from Daniel and Sandy’s conversation. Read the chart before listening and predict what will be filled in the place. Then start listening and writing.

Students listen and check the answers

Practice make an interview with Daniel or Sandy.

A2 T: We have known there are six questions in the survey. Look at A2 and see what the six questions are, and what we are going to fill in the blanks.(Explain: the number of students)

Students listen and fill in the form. Then share the answers.

T: By now, we have known much about the survey. Now. Let’s complete the note to Mr Wu.

Students fill in the form and then share the answers one by one.

T: What did the survey finally show us?

T: Students have really done a lot.

Do a survey in the class. How green are you?

Work in your groups and ask your group members about their daily habits of protecting the environment. Then report the results to the class.
