Step 2 Presentation

1.T: The bears are good detectives. Do you know any other famous detectives? Look at the pictures and introduce Conan and Sherlock Holmes.

Sherlock homes is a detective.

He is neither tall nor short.

He is of medium height.

2.T: Eddie is dressed like Sherlock Holmes. They have magnifying glasses in their hands to look for clues.

3. T: Please listen to the tape and answer the questions:

(1) Is Eddie looking for a murderer?

(2) What is Eddie looking for?

4. Read after the video.

5. Practice it in pairs and act it out.

6. Help Hobo complete his diary.

Step 3 Presentation

1. T: You all did a good job. Eddie wants to be a detective. Do you want to be a detective?

2. Read the police's report and fill in the blanks.

3.T: They all say that they are not guilty. Who is lying? Who is telling the truth?

4. Read Daniel and Sandy's conversation and answer the questions.

5. Read after the tape.
