Warm-up

8分钟1.Show a video,then show students some clothes on the screen. Ask students to say and spell the words to review.

2. Make conversations:

T: What’s this?

Ss: It’s a T-shirt.

T: What color is it?

Ss: It’s white.

T: How uch is it?

Ss: It’s 6 dollars.

Now ask and answer about the price of the clothes your partner wears.

eg.S1: How much is your hat?

S2: It’s five dollars.

S1: How much are your trousers?

S2: They’re 30 dollars. 复习所学内容包括颜色，来进一步描述物品，为本课语法做准备。Step 2

Grammar Focus。

15分钟1. Read the sentences in grammar focus,and ask students to find the rules.

2. 语法指导：询问物品的价格常用特殊疑问词how much来提问，根据主语的不同分两种类型的句式结构：

① How much + is + 名词单数？

② How much + are + 可数名词复数？

补充相关知识：

句型What’s the price of ...? 也可用于询问价格。注意: 当of 后名词是复数时, 系动词be仍用is。

how much 还可用来询问数量, 意为“多少”, 其后接不可数名词。how many也可用来询问数量, 意为“多少”, 但其后接复数可数名词

练习：用how much 或 how many 填空。
