本课学习的课文来自《英语》(牛津上海版)第一册第六单元The Changing Colours of Our Crops。本文的文体为说明文,通过介绍上海孙桥现代农业园区(Sunqiao Modern Agricultural Development Zone)来说明农业从传统的“绿色农业”、“蓝色农业”到当代与科技融合的“白色农业”的发展。就文本的内容和结构来说,文章开篇介绍三种颜色的农业,开门见山、直陈概念;然后提到了“白色农业”在孙桥得到实践推广,并通过科技发展和经济发展两条清晰的主线介绍孙桥园区;最后通过人们转变对于农业的观念再次强调了转变农业颜色的重要性。从文本的语言来看,文章属于典型的报刊说明文,具有科学性、条理性,语言确切丰富,行文流畅、简单句和复合句交杂,有一定的阅读难度。在设计本节课时,考虑到根据高中英语学科核心素养要求,应该实现英语能力、思维品质、文化意识和学习能力的全面发展,所以课堂上应注意引导学生主动学习、探究,优化课堂教学、提升课堂品质。

Analysis of the students:

本课的教学对象为高一(1)班的学生,学生已经有了一定的词汇积累,而且学习了状语从句、定语从句和非谓语等重要的语法内容,对于这篇文章的学习具备一定的基础。班级同学的英语水平有分层的倾向,程度好的和程度较弱的同学之间差距较大。文章内容关于农业技术和农业园区,离学生的日常生活较远,学生较难产生兴趣及认同感。课上既需要让同学在理解生词和复杂句的基础上,从文章中获取、分析和处理农业相关信息;又需要产生对农业技术发展的认同感。所以,教师应该从学生的实际出发,通过多种学习任务及各种活动来创建良好的英语课堂交流氛围。
