admit, practice, escape;
deny, (can’t) stand, excuse;
avoid, miss, enjoy;
mind, keep, risk, imagine;
dislike, appreciate, (can’t) resist.
Eg. Would you mind repeating that? I didn’t quite under stand.
Mary is considering changing her car.
The suspect at last admitted receiving stolen goods but denied selling them.
I can’t stand working with Jane in the same office.

look forward to, be/get used to, pay attention to,
be fond of, can’t help, put off, keep on etc.
