Pre-writing:

Lead in with my own experience of watching a live concert to stimulate their interest in music. Show the students several pictures to enhance their view ability.

After introducing the experience let them finish the grammar filling task to give students an example of how to write a autobiography of a certain singer.

To summarize from the grammar filling task about from how many aspects can we introduce the singer. This can help students to formulate their summarizing ability.

A guessing game:filling the blanks of 5 sentences introducing Li Ronghao.

Show a poster of Li Ronghao’s live concert in Dalian

Give the students 20 minutes to write.

I can still remember my first time 1 (watch) a live concert given by my favorite band Sodagreen. I went to Shanghai’s Hongkou football stadium on July 14th ,2015. What 2 (impress) me most was his perfect voice and the splendid stage.

Now I will briefly introduce the band. Sodagreen, a band from Taiwan, is composed of 6 people. Wu Qingfeng is the lead singer of the band. He was born 3 August 30th, 1982. He is a singer and composer. Up to now, he 4 (compose) over 200 songs for popular singers such as Zhang Huimei, Cai Yilin and Chenyixun. He showed his 5 (music) talent when he was still a middle-school student. He won the Best Composer on the 27th Golden Melody Award ceremony(金曲奖). His representative works are Little Love Song, I Miss You So and Met Again.

To me, SodaGreen is not only a band but also a kind of faith,which will pull me through the tough days.
