二．Analysis of the learner
The target students are senior students in grade one, who've already got certain amount of words and knowledge and are capable of communicating and expressing in English on some topics. They are capable of finishing the tasks of speaking text under direction of teacher. So several tasks will be prepared for the students to finish in order to improve their speaking.
三.Teaching Aims and Demands.
A. Knowledge Aims
1 .The students will know something about music and grasp the key words and expressions, such as :Audience, choir, classical, composer, conductor, jazz, musician, orchestra, saxophone, guitar, classical music, traditional Chinese music etc.
2 .The students will learn some sentence structures. Such as:
I love ... / I really like ... /I am interested in…
I hate ... / I can’t stand...
B. Ability Aims
After the class, students should be able to:
1). talk about?music freely, and express likes and dislikes correctly.
2). learn how to deal with bad mood and set correct views on music.
C. Emotion Aims
After the class, enable the students to respect different music, because different music come into being for different reasons, they are formed on the basis of different culture; and learn how to deal with bad mood.
四. Teaching important points
Enable the students talk about?music freely, and express likes and dislikes correctly.

Full discussion about music and different types of music.

Asking-and-answering activity; listening; pair or group work; speaking.
