Step 1 Warming up

T: Today we will have a discussion about Passive Voice. At first, please look at the definition on the screen and read together.

语态(Voice)是动词的一种形式,它表示句子的主语和谓语动词之间的关系。

语态通常分为主动语态和被动语态。

被动语态(Passive Voice)表示句子的主语是动作的承受者

Basic structure(基本结构): be + V-ed

Step 2 Rules of passive voice

Task 1: What happens to Doudou?

回答:Doudou __________________ (beat)

There is an island. The people there only have three things to do in their life: eating, resting and beating Doudou.

1. Doudou is always beaten by someone. (豆豆总是在被打。)

2. Doudou was beaten yesterday evening. (豆豆昨天又被打了。)

3. Tomorrow, Doudou will be beaten several times. (明天豆豆将要面对N次暴打。)

4. Poor Doudou has been beaten for many years. (可怜的豆豆已经被这样打了很多年。)

Task 2: What happens to the environment?

Trees are cut by humans every day.
