【语篇分析】

本课是外研版高一必修三第二模块的阅读课型，本模块的主题是发展中国家和发达国家。阅读部分的文章为介绍人类发展报告相关信息。本文首先介绍了人类发展报告形成的起因、发起者和目的，然后介绍报告内容中的一个重要部分：人类发展指数，其对发达国家和发展中国家进行对比和分析，提出人类发展目标，汇报一些地区的发展成果和仍然存在的问题。最后提出希望，希望发展中国家要继续努力战胜贫困，发达国际要给予更多的帮助。重点词汇主涉及社会进步、人类发展、人民生活水平等,如 financial, education,poverty, development等,

学生通过本篇文章的学习可以了解人类发展报告，人类发展指数等的相关信息，使学生正视我国为发展中国家的事实，树立为祖国和家乡的繁荣富强而努力学习的决心。

【学情分析】

我校学生的学习成绩和学习习惯都不尽人意，许多学生学习意识模糊，学习英语积极性不高，学习兴趣不浓，没有良好的英语学习方法，思维有极强的惰性。原因是英语基础知识不好，缺乏自信心。没有学生能用英语自信地表达自己的观点，这些不足可能成为这节课学习的重点和难点。在此基础之上教师就设计了教学目标,一共有五条。

教学目标：

经过本课的学习，学生能够：

1.?提取语篇大意，梳理文章结构；

2.?通过课堂活动，运用不同的阅读方法，分段理解每段的细节信息，循序渐进地梳理和整合所读文章信息，对本文从不同角度进行分析和深度解读；提高学生的阅读能力，如略读、查读、细读；

4.?基于所读文章和课外资料，能运用所学词汇和语言知识讨论如何使祖国更加富强的有效措施并形成文字资料，既锻炼了学生的口语表达能力又能提高学生的写作能力，同时促进学生为了祖国和人类的发展而努力学习的决心，提高他们的主人翁责任感

教学重点：

学生通过阅读了解人类发展报告，在阅读过程中提高学生的略读、查读以及细读能力。

教学难点：

?掌握文中重点词汇，并会运用所学词汇、语言讨论使祖国富强的措施。

Ss read through the passage quickly to find the topic sentence of each paragraph. Then let ss match the main idea with each paragraph. Ss volunteer to answer and choose a secret surprising prize.

Then Ss look through the first paragraph and answer the following question.
