Step 1 Lead-in
Task: Understand what the city of future will be like and imagine it.
T: Today we are going to learn Module 1. In this module we will learn about life in the future. Have you ever imagined what life in the future will be like? What job we will do? What clothes we will wear? What transportation we will use? and What house we will live?
S1: I think the environment in the future will be much cleaner.
S2: I think we will lead a more comfortable life with the robots to help us a lot.
S3: I think we may go on space travels in the future........
T: Good. Let’s look at the pictures on the screen. What can you see in the pictures?
SS: some predictions of the future, then a modern city and a city in other planets.
T: Good. Let’s learn more about the city of future. Look at reading and vocabuary.
