Enable students’ the micro-reading ability to find the reference meaning of pronouns

Step one: Topic lead-in ( 2mins)

“ Do you still remember these three people? ”

“Yes, they are western classical musicians,and we’ve learned them in B2M3.”

“Let’s learn a Chinese classical musician ----Liu Fang.”

Step two: Pre- reading (0.5mins)

Let students guess and predict what might be written about Liu in this passage.

Open your book and check whether we predict right or wrong.

Step three: Fast- reading (0.5mins)

skim the passage and match main idea of each part together

T: observe and remind students to skim the six questions

Step four: Careful-reading (18mins)

scan part I and then decide if the factors are true.(2+1+3mins)
