Lead the students to the topic of music and grammar by

a picture and get them interested in today’s topic.运用一幅青少年在音乐的氛围中开心大笑的图片,既能引出本堂课主题:在音乐情境中使用定语从句,又能充分调动起学生对本堂课的期待感与兴趣。Task 1 We are listeners!(我们是听众)

The students enjoy and find out the attributive clauses in the song-That’s why you go away. 让学生在音乐的氛围中找出定语从句,构造轻松愉悦的课堂。同时在课堂初设置相对简单的任务,提升学生对本节课运用语法的自信心。Task 2 We are singers!(我们是歌手)

The students share and sing songs including attributive clauses that they have prepared before the class.让学生在识别定语从句的基础上演唱含有定语从句的歌曲。既活跃课堂气氛,又调动学习热情。Task 3 We are critics!(我们是乐评人)

The students describe the music they like or they don’t like by using attributive clauses.在识别定语从句的基础上,适当加大难度,让学生会说出简单的定语从句。同时调动学生的整体积极性,集中学生注意力。Task 4 We are lyricists!(我们是作词人)

The students enjoy the famous classic Chinese song-Xiao Fang and write some English lyrics for the song.

用定语从句补充英语歌词。在音乐的氛围中设置任务,调动积极性,提升能力。Task 5:We are winners!(我们是赢家)

The students have a group competition and cooperation to apply attributive clauses to practice in correction, gap filling and writing.将定语从句结合音乐话题运用在高考题型中,考查学生综合运用定语从句的能力,是能力的进一步提升,同时让学生进一步意识到学习定语从句的实用性,必要性以及重要性。Summary -- Let’s sing together! (唱起来吧!)

The students sing “That’s why you go away” together for their wonderful performance and end up enjoying music, enjoying life and enjoy grammar.首尾呼应,在愉快的音乐氛围中结束本堂课。启发学生热爱音乐,热爱生活,热爱语法。Homework
