In Unit 1 we have learned some information about lifestyles.For today’s class,we will let the students write a composition “My parent’s Lifestyle”,imitating what we have learned---words and expressions..We have the English class in multimedia classroom because multimedia’s application in teaching has unique advantages in arousing students’ enthusiasm,mobilizing their initiative and cultivating their interest in English knowledge. Our students come from ordinary secondary school .They have mastered fewer words than key middle school students. They are afraid of writing composition because of all kinds of reasons.When we have learned texts,we will choose some passages and let the students recite the passages.We will pick out some words and phrases which they may use when writing .Let them imitate.Thus,we can arouse the students’ enthusiasm of learning English.Also we can Improve their English writing.

Teaching procedures:

Step I.Greetings

Step II.Getting information from Unit 1 , imitating the information of the text

Listen to the tape,getting information from Unit 1 “Lifestyles”

T---For today’s class we will review what we learned yesterday.Now listen to the tape and pay attention to the useful words and expressions.I will divide the whole class into several groups and and let you recite the text paragraph by paragraph.

2.Retell the two passages

T---Now I will let two students retell the two passages.Who volunteer?

3.Students’ activities:

(1).Read and fill in the table with information about Debbie and Paul’s lifestyles. Add information about your own lifestyles and your parent’s.
