4. Discussion after reading to make students understand what they have learned better.

Part 4 Teaching Procedures

Step 1 Lead-in

Teacher show a RMB100 to the students and ask them to answer two questions.

What can you see on the front?

What about its back?

(Make use of the questions related to the text to inspire students with their interest, and lead to the text).

Step2 While- Reading

1. Listening and Fast reading

(1)Listen to the tape and read the text quickly.

(2)Describe the euro on the powerpoint.

(3)Talk about the meaning of the design of the euro notes.

2.Teacher show some pictures on the screen to the students in order that they can understand the euro better.

( Fast reading can help students get a general idea and improve the skill of skimming).

Step3 Careful –Reading

Task1.Ask the students to read the texts carefully and here some questions for them.
