Teaching difficulties(教学重难点):

To practice using Past Participles with various functions in sentences(学生能够在句子中运用过去分词的各种功能)

Teaching Aids(教学工具): Computer(多媒体)

The analysis of the students(学情分析):

The students are poor in English , although they are Senior Three students. According to this situation and teaching contents in this lesson ,I will try to make them find the functions of Past participles and practice in sentences.(虽然学生已是高三,但英语基础薄弱,根据这种情况和本节课的高考要求,我将尽力让学生自己通过练习去发现过去分词的各种功能,然后总结并能够在句子中运用).

Teaching procedures(教学设计):

Step I .Lead-in (导入)

T: Yesterday we studied lesson 1 EQ: IQ. What does EQ stand for?(昨天学习了课文情商和智商,那么EQ代表了什么)

S:Emotional Quotient.(情商)

T: yes. Emotional Quotient. It tells you how well you use your emotion. (是的,情商告诉你如何更好使用你的情感)

T: Now we know the meaning of EQ. we often hear someone refer to IQ, so we are familiar with IQ. What does IQ stand for?(现在知道了情商,那IQ又代表了什么)

S: Intelligence Quotient.(智商)

T: Intelligence Quotient. Tells you how well you use your smartness. (情商告诉你如何更好使用你的情感)

T : Which do you think is more important? EQ or IQ? Why? I think you need consider this question .As we know , PP has been used in Lesson one. Next, we will learn pp.(你认为情商重要还是智商重要?我想大家需要继续思考这个问题,我们知道,过去分词被大量使用于第一课中,下面我们需要学习过去分词的各项功能)

Step II Have a look at sentences from this lesson .(Let students read together)(让学生一起读摘自课文的句子,并且关注每个句子中划线的过去分词)

Step III .Guessing game (Make students volunteer to answer these questions and get points for their group)(做猜词游戏,这些词来源于刚才课文中的句子,方式是让学生自愿抢答问题为小组加分,目的主要是检测学生的观察和瞬间记忆及关注考点的能力)

1. to test your sense of observation(检测学生的观察能力)

2. to test your ability of short-term memory (检测学生的瞬间记忆能力)
