《Culture Corner》教案优质课下载

学生情况分析:

授课班级为合肥七中高二年级的学生。全班51人,班级学习氛围较好,学生普遍能对西方幽默感兴趣,但理解起来还有很大的问题,需要老师引导,获取相关知识和技能去理解幽默。在前面的warm-up和三课的学习中,学生已经培养期对于“笑”相关事物的兴趣,在此基础上学生学会如何阅读说明文,并且去读懂、看懂不同类型的幽默。

教学目标分析

Knowledge objective:

By the end of the class, the students will be able to master the 5 types of humour – irony, dry humour, sardonic humour, satire and black humour.

Ability objective:

By the end of the class, the students will be able to:

know how to read an expository writing;

understand humour of English culuter;

recognize the type of humour.

Emotional objective:

By the end of the class, the students will be able to:

experience the joy of western humour,

show more interest in western culture and then show more interest in learning English and finally better understand western culture.

Teaching important point:

Students need to fully understand the definition of the five types of humour;

Teaching difficult point:

Students should understand the humour when they meet it.

Students should recognize the type of humour as they read, listen or watch it.
