授课对象是一级达标校的高二年级学生，大部分学生有学习英语的积极性和兴趣。经过一年多的高中英语学习，他们有一定的语言知识储备，具备一定的认知水平和阅读理解能力。学生的识记、理解、应用的思维能力相对较好，而分析、评价、创新的高阶思维能力则相对薄弱。自然灾害的话题，对他们而言并不陌生，但是对于其原因和危害性，学生总体缺乏深入地了解。

3、教学目标分析

（1）学生能分析文本结构，把握文本脉络，培养综合概括能力；（2）学生能运用阅读策略，完成七选五任务性阅读，培养学生用英语获取信息、处理信息的能力以及逻辑思维能力；（3）学生能正确地提炼、整合文本信息，构建语言知识，完成文本内容填空，培养逻辑性思维能力和学习能力；（4）学生能对信息进行归纳、概括和评价，学会分析作者的写作意图，并发表自己的看法，培养学生思维品质和学习能力，同时形成积极的世界观和价值观，树立环保意识和提升社会责任感，发展文化品格；（5）学生能通过小组合作绘制思维导图，报道自然灾害，培养学生分析、评价与创新的思维品质；（6）学生能以阅读文本为支架展开读后续写，完成书面作业任务，培养学生的创造性思维能力和语言运用能力。

4、教学重点、难点分析

教学重点：（1）学生提炼、整合、分析文本信息，完成文本思维导图填空；（2）学生通过小组合作、探究完成思维导图的绘制，并作展示，做一个关于自然灾害的报道。

教学难点：（1）学生深入解读文本，探究文本语言，感悟文本，树立环保意识，增强社会责任感；（2）学生以阅读文本为支架完成读后续写写作任务。

Step Two Understand the passage

Ask students to finish task one&two in class and check the answers together.
