Step 1 Lead-in
Show students some pictures of natural disasters and ask them to name these disasters.
Step 2 Reading comprehension (I)
Introduce the reading strategies to the students.
Use the strategies to complete the gaps in the text (1-5) with these sentences (a-g). There are two extra sentences you do not need.
