Play the national anthem of Canada.

Listen to the music.

Sing after the song if they can.1. Motivate their learning interest of this part.

2. Learn to admire and sing the song.Step II Competition.

Show some apples on the PPT. There is a corresponding problem behind every apple. Students stand up directly and choose each apple they like and answer the question behind the apple. Try to collect more apples for his/her group.

Review some basic knowledge about Canada. We’ve learned that in the Warming Up.Step III Match.

Match the paragraph with the meaning.

Read the text quickly and quietly to match the main idea of the 3 parts.

Students grasp the main idea of this passage.Step IV Draw a travel route.

Ask the students to draw a travel route of the cousins.

1.Students read the text again and draw the travel route of the cousins in groups.
