《Warming up、Pre-reading、Reading、Comprehending》公开课教案优质课下载

The new curriculum standards are the base and guide to teaching, which require us , on the basis of textbooks and extra teaching resources, to effectively combine teachers’ conducting and explaining with students’ independent research and cooperative learning, solve “double bases” (language knowledge and abilities), develop students’ skills (obtain information, analyze and solve problems) and fulfill moral education. Meanwhile, try to guide students to achieve the aim of efficient learning-enjoying learning, being good at learning and being able to use it. As far as I’m concerned, teachers and students will research effectively, combine resources and achieve 3D aims.

Ⅲ. The analysis of the text【教材分析】

1. This unit is revolves around the topic of great women, through the content of warming up, pre-reading, reading, comprehending, there are all together six women of achievements being introduced.?The most important affective object is to let students know what kind of qualities a great person should possess. The discussion can be illuminating. In a society that is becoming more and more fame and fortune oriented, it is very important to have our young students realize that great people are not necessarily rich people or celebrities. But they must be spiritually fulfilled and be beneficial to the people and society. And the teacher should seize the chance to lead students to take these great people as examples and to set up their own ideals for life. This would be beneficial for the formation of their values, which would be more than teaching English. The reading part “A Student of African Wildlife” introduces Jane Goodall’s research work through the content of her work, the difficulties she met with and her achievements to praise her contribution to the wildlife protection.

2. Guide students to improve reading skills. how to get the main idea according to the basic elements (when、 where、 how、 etc); how to find topic sentences; how to analyze the structure of reading material; how to solve practical problems by using reading skills.

Ⅳ.Analysis of students【学生分析】

1. Students’ English levels are different from each other, so teachers should know about their students to stimulate their interests in English and to encourage them to participate in the group work to develop their abilities to communicate in English.

2. Students have abilities of a certain level to read, discover and cooperate .So how to improve them in well-organized ways in limited time and accomplish the moral goals are what the teacher should think about.

Ⅴ.Teaching aims – 3D goals【 教学目标】

(1) Knowledge goal(语言知识目标): Guide students to comprehend the story of Jane Goodall’s protecting the African wildlife, to find out proper way to describe her research work .

(2) Ability goal(语言技能目标):

develop the students’ three kinds of skills:

★the skills of reading: skimming(for the general idea and structure), guessing(for a better understanding) ,intensive reading(for details)

★the skills of studying: self-discovering, communicating, cooperating

★the skills of writing: summarizing, passage-based writing

(3) Moral goal(情感态度目标):

To get the students to know the importance of Jane Goodall’s work, and raise the awareness of understanding the animals, respecting the animals and protecting the animals. It is Jane Goodall’s positive attitude that will inspire and encourage the students’ confidence and social responsibilities to build up their gender and social values.

Ⅵ. My opinion about how to deal with the passage (including important and difficult points) 【教学重难点】

Teaching important points: Developing students’ abilities of reading comprehension and summarizing is the core. Trains the student to obtain information, process information, the ability to analyze and solve problems.

Teaching difficult points: Train the students’ ability of expressing their own opinions on how to protect the wild animals in English, and how to come up with the effective measures and reasonable proposals.

Ⅶ.Analysis of teaching methods and learning methods【教法与学法分析】

1. ★Demonstration method: show some pictures and videos in order to get the students know about background knowledge.

★Task-based teaching: according to the group work, students can analyze and discuss the questions that came up by teacher, and with the help of teacher, students can find the solutions to the problems to achieve the task-based teaching’s aim.

★Multimedia aid teaching: put some relevant documents, pictures, videos about the chimp’s life into PPT to stimulate the students’ interest and improve the efficiency of the class.

2. The new curriculum standards aim to train students to study by themselves. So the following three learning methods are important for them

(1)discovering learning (2)communicative learning (3)cooperative learning
