分 析Students often feel this item abstract and difficult ,so it is necessary to make the lesson interesting and connect it with their daily life in order to let it easy to accept and understand. Firstly, I wrote a love story and read the first part of it with Full Inversion. And then I ask different group to read different part with Partial Inversion. Thirdly, students draw a conclusion by observing or discussing.学情分析The students have learned Full Inversion. While they don’t know what’s the Partial Inversion. Therefore, we adopt the research-oriented learning mode and provide some situations and tasks in teaching, emphasizing students’ subjectivity in the learning process and instructing the students to use it in individual work, pair work and group work to fulfill the learning tasks.

Teaching Objectives

Knowledge aim:

After fulfilling the learning tasks, most students will be able to understand the usage of The Partial Inversion, and they can make full use of the language structure to express their feelings in different patterns.

Ability aims:

1.Enable Ss to find out why sentences use Partial Inversion and how to use Partial Inversion properly.

2.After observing, reading and discussing, most students will be able to express their ideas in different patterns of Partial Inversion properly.

Emotion aims:

1. Stimulate students’ interest in learning Grammar.

2.Develop Ss’ spirit of cooperative learning.

Teaching focuses:

Enable Ss to learn and grasp what’s Partial Inversion and how to use it.teaching difficulties:

How to help students learn the knowledge (Partial Inversion) into skills, and to foster their language using ability.

Read the first part of the story

Long long ago, there lived a young man in the forest .On the bridge was the young man. In his hand was an umbrella .Nobody knew what had happened . Out rushed the young man .Two years ago, he accidently found that standing under the tree was a beautiful girl.

To find out the sentences with Fill Inversion.用含有全部倒装的故事做导入既复习了全部倒装,又为引出部分倒装作好铺垫。

Step2.

Read the 4 parts of the story.Ask students in different groups to read different part of the story.

1 .Never had he seen her before. She didn’t say a word, nor did he. Not until she disappeared did he leave.

2. No sooner had he closed his eyes than the girl appeared. Finally, he decided to seek her. He said to himself, “by no means shall I give up”.

3. However, So surprised was he that he couldn’t say a word. Only then did he understand that she wanted to kill him that day for some reason.

4. The girl gazed at his distant receding figure, crying: “Much as I love you , I will never marry you . Were you I, would you tell me the truth?”
