The class is given to Senior two students who have accumulated a certain number of English words and phrases as well as have done some listening exercise . However, they still have difficulty in catching the detailed information of listening.

Get the students to learn some useful new words and expressions

Ability aims

(1) Enable the students to master listening skills: Pre-listening( go through and predict) ,While- listening (the way of taking notes—— shorthand ) and Post-listening

(2)Enable the students to express preference by comparison.

Enable the students to have a positive attitude toward the relationship and future between robots and human being.

V. Teaching Methods

1. Task-based approach

With the ideas of “learning by doing” and “doing things with the language”, the teacher designs some specific and manageable tasks for students to complete to help them master the skills.

2. Cooperative teaching method

This includes cooperation between the teacher and students, among students in groups or in class in order to simplify the difficulty of tasks and make students learn to solve problems in the process of cooperation
