The topic of this unit is “world records”. In previous 3 periods one, information about Ashria Furman ,the person who holds the most Guinness records, has been introduced. And some related words and expressions have been emphasized. In this period, we will learn some profiles, which show information of other 4 athletes, from which students can think about the qualities they possess .

Analysis of students

The students in Class 15 are active and willing to learn English although the don’t have a solid foundation. They have got used to the learning in high middle school but still need some guidance and instruction in both basic knowledge and reading skills.
