教学过程：
Step1 Greeting and leading in
The teacher asks the students : “ Do you think grammatical cloze is difficult? Today we will learn together to find out some methods to solve this problem.
(To stimulate the students’ learning interest.)
Step 2 Doing and thinking
There are six sentences on the screen. Let the students do them and discuss with their partners why they choose the answers.
After that , check the answers one by one .During this period, the student who gives the answer should tell the reason for the class.
( To improve students’ cooperation and stimulate their learning motivation.)
Step 3 Short summary
After doing and thinking the six sentences, lead the students to find out the rules in these sentences :some sentences give us words, but others don’t. So we can divide the Cloze into two parts. Then point out the testing centre .
Step 4 Thinking
Let the students think about how to deal with a whole passage of the grammatical cloze first. Then show the three steps on the screen.
(To develop students’ thinking ability.)
Step 5 Practice
Ask the students using the rules they just find to do the exercise on the screen and find out the reasons. They can discuss with their partners or if they need help they also can ask for the teacher.
