教材概述 the introduction of teaching material

The central topic of this unit is Detective stories,as well as the different types of adverbial clauses and so on.

The reading passage is about two crimes.

There are several exercises in this part.

For example

Exercise 1 asks students to fill in the blanks in the passage using the sentences and clauses.

Exercise 2 asks students to complete the police notes with information in the reading passage.

There are three class periods in this unit. And the part I present today is the first period.

To learn some new words and expressions, master the usage of the important words

such as expression: detect/fingerprint/jury/motive etc.

Know the differences between different adverbial clauses

The purpose of this reading is to show students how to make comments about stories.
