Step 1.Warming up

Step2 Presentation

1 Show the picture of turkey and let the students say something about it.

2 Talk about the history of Thanksgiving and watch the video.

Step 2. Pre-reading

1Show them the questions and give them time to find out the answers.

2 Check the answers..

Step 3. While-reading

1. Ss work in groups and make a summary about the text.

2. Choose one group to write them down on the Bb and talk about them. Other groups make an addition.

Step 4. After-reading

1. Finish the exercise and check the answers.

2. Let the students use one phrase to get the main idea of the holiday.

3. Each group makes a list about how to celebrate Thanksgiving next year. And Show the result.
