How to teach the Ss to learn the names of the illness: toothache, fever and headache.

IV,Teaching procedures:

Step1. Greetings

Greet the whole class as usual.

Step2. Warming up

Show a picture of Xiaoming to students and revise the body parts they have learned.After that,teach students more about body parts like stomache, neck ,throat,etc.

Step3,Play a game called Touch your body parts

Ask five boys and five girls to the front.Another student will read the instuctions on the paper and ask the ten students to do as he reads.If someone does wrong,he﹨she should go back to his﹨her seat,the last one at the front will be the winner.

Step4,Look at the picture.Write the correct letter[a-m]for each part of the body.

Ask students to read the letter s with the words one by one.

Step5: Presentation of words about diseases

1. Show Ss a picture of a boy with a running nose and tell them there is something wrong with the boy. Then teach Ss to guess the health problems. When I do an action, ask Ss: “What’s the matter ?” He has a cod on the screen) Then teach the other target words: fever, sore throat, toothache, sore back in the following way.

2,let’s enjoy a video.

Students will folow the girl on the video to sing and do actions to revise the ilnesses.

3. play a guessing game.

ask some students to the front imme some illnesses and ask the other students to guess the names of diseases: fever, sore throat, toothache, sore back, cold, cough.
