T: To swim and to hear have the same structure to do. We call it the infinitive. Today we will learn the uses of the infinitives.

Read and remember the infinitives不定式:

1. I’d like to do… 2. ask sb. to do…

5. help sb. do… 6. learn to do…

7. decide to do… 8. help sb. to do…

Step 3 Generalize the uses of the infinitives.

Watch a video about the uses of the infinitives and then use examples to analyze the uses of the infinitives.

动词不定式的用法:

1. 用作宾语 (v. + to do )

2. 用作宾语补足语:(v. + sb. + to do )

3. 用作目的状语

4. 用作后置定语

5. 不带to的动词不定式作宾语补足语。

Step 4 Play a game: Choose your lucky number
