Step 1 Warming up

Talk about your hometown.

Where is your hometown?

Do you like your hometown?

What are some of the special places in your hometown?

Step 2 pair work

Work in pairs and talk about Fuyang from its location, food, history and culture, places of interest, weather and so on.

Step 3 Presentation

Show some pictures of some places in Fuyang. Ask and answer like:

----How long has it been in Fuyang?

----It has been here since...

----How long has our school been in our city?

----It has been here since.../for...

Step 4 Listening

1b Listen and answer the questions

1. Does Martin like Jenny’s hometown?

Yes, he does.

2. Does Jenny still live in her hometown?
