Emotional Objectives:After the course, Ss can focus on the changes of social environment. Ss can appreciate and cherish possessions and the things around them. Ss are able to learn and love more about their hometown.

Learning strategies: Have students learn some general information about their hometown as well as attract their interest by using an introductory video. With the help of some pictures, have them understand the changes of the hometown and the things around them. Using task-based teaching method to improve their listening abilities. Ask them to learn independently and cooperate with others.

Cultural awareness: Students will broaden their minds by talking about the topic.
