八年级的学生处于过渡时期，他们的性格特点具有很大的可塑性。他们都很活泼，好奇，对一切都充满兴趣。这个时期的引导和教育有着不同凡响的作用。本节课的教学任务我很注重分层，面向全体，充分调动每个学生的积极性。
教学目标分析
知识目标：学生通过复习、巩固so that,so…that…,the+比较级，the+比较级,to one’s surprise等短语及句式结构的运用。
能力目标：学生通过阅读文段，懂得提炼主要内容，提升思想深度，在日常生活中，能做到明辨是非，积极向上。
情感目标：通过对文章的复习，对文章中心思想的理解，培养学生形成乐于助人、坚强勇敢、热爱生活、热爱大自然的优秀品质。
教学重点、难点分析
能简要概括文章大意，能准确理解文章中心思想，能灵活运用文章的好词好句，能掌握文章出现的常用短语及句式结构，能正确面对人生挫折，能有乐于助人的精神。
教学方法：
恰当运用多媒体辅助教学，提高课堂效率，增加趣味性。
以学生为中心，开展Group work,debate等英语教学活动。
注重分层教学，尊重差异，让不同层次的学生都能参与，获得成就感。
“任务型”活动策略，在做中学、练，任务明确，活动面广，让学生真正做到学以致用。
