通过本节课的学习,学生能够:

1. 了解现在完成时的基本结构,并理解其表示过去发生的事件对现在造成影响或结果的用法。

2. 运用所学的现在完成时的语法知识进行语言交际,提高综合语言运用能力。

3. 在学习过程中养成观察、分析、比较、归纳、创新等思维方式,并通过积极的思维促进语言学习。

4. 保持语法学习的兴趣并积极参加语言实践活动。

教学重点和难点

1. 教学重点:学生通过运用所学的现在完成时的语法知识进行语言交际,提高综合语言运用能力。

2. 教学难点:学生理解现在完成时表示过去发生的事件对现在造成影响或结果的用法。

教学过程:

Step1: Lead in (创设语言情境)

In this unit, the students have learned about six English literary classics and the teacher has told them to choose one to read out of class. The teacher asks each student to make an information card for the English writer of the book he/she likes. To make the information card, the teacher gets the students to follow the following steps:

(1) Write down the name of the writer.

(2) Draw a picture of him/her.

(3) Find out some facts about him/her.

(4) Think of some words you want to say to him/her.

(5) Put some hearts below the picture to show how you like him/her.

(6) Give a name to your card.

Step 2: Presentation (熟悉语言结构)

After the students have been working on their information card for some time, the teacher halts them. At this time, the progress of the card making varies. The teacher projects cards the students have made on the screen and prompts the students to describe what they have done as below, using the target language.

(1) A has already drawn a picture of the writer, but he hasn’t found out the facts about him yet.

(2) B has already found out some facts about the writer, but he hasn’t thought of the words he wants to say to him yet.

(3) C has already written down the name of the writer, but she hasn’t drawn the picture of him yet.

The teacher writes these sentences on the blackboard and asks the students to observe how they are formed and summarize the structure of the present perfect tense.

Then the teacher gets the students to work in pairs to complete Chart 1 on their work paper. They are expected to ask and answer like the example below:

A: Have you drawn a picture of the writer yet?

B: Yes, I have. / No, I haven’t, but I have already written down the name of the writer.
