本节课主要采用自主学习、小组合作探究、角色表演的学习策略，利用多媒体开展课堂教学，问答式对话等小组活动，正确使用 “used to”结构谈论自己及他人在外貌、性格、行为习惯和兴趣爱好等方面的变化。

情感态度与价值观目标：

使学生明白一个人一直在变化，但是我们要朝好的方向变化。当我们走得更高更远的时候，不要忘了我们出发的地方，我们的母校---溪州中学！

四、教学重难点

1. 教学重点：

使用used to 结构谈论自己及他人在外貌、性格等方面的变化。

2. 教学难点：

将形容词和动词正确融入到used to 结构中来谈论人物在外貌、性格、行为习惯和兴趣爱好等方面的变化时。

Step Ⅰ. 情景导入(Lead-in )

Lead-in:A Guessing Game

Show some old photos and ask the Ss to guess who they are.

T:Please look at the photos.Who are they?

Students start to guess.

T:Wonderful!They have changed a lot.Peng Haili used to be short,but now she is tall.Today we are going to learn “used to”.We’ll talk about people’s changes.

Step Ⅱ. 新知探究(Presentation )

1.Watch a video.

T:How have they changed?

Ss:They have changed in …

T:Good.Now let’s see how they have changed in appearance ,personality,activities and hobbies.

2.Watch three videos.

T:Watch carefully and write down their changes in the chart.
