四、教学步骤

Step1 Warming-up and leading-in

1.Listen to a song(千里之外)sung by Jay Chou. (上课前播放)

The teacher asks: Who sang this song? (叫一个学生回答)

The student answers: Jay Chou /Zhou Jielun/Zhou Jielun sang this song.

The teacher says: You’re Great! Yes, Zhou Jielun sang this song. Another way of saying this sentence is: This song was sung by Zhou Jielun.

2.展示周杰伦打篮球的图片

Jay Chou played basketball. Ask students another way of saying it. “Basketball was played by Jay Chou”.

Step 2 Presentation

利用竞猜实物(电话、电脑)的方式引入本节课的重点句型,并学习单词和短语:invent , inventor, invention, be used for…

Step 3 Practice

利用幻灯片(汽车,电话,电脑和电视)操练句型:What’s this? Who was it invented by? What was it used for?(利用游戏的方式让学生任选一幅图片与同桌进行操练。)

Step4. Listening and oral practice (1a-1c)

Listen and check the answers.

Have a small test “Who has a good memory?”

Step5.Consolidation

Task: Group work
