Step1.Warming up

In this part,the teacher will tell the students what we will learn and tell the students to try to realize the importance of protecting the environment.

Question: What kind of environment do you want to live in?

Step 2. Think a moment.

In this part,try to ask the students to take part in the class discussion. And talk about the pollutions aroud us: air pollution, water pollution,waste pollution,,noise pollution.

Question: What’s your feelings if you live in this kind of pollution?

Step3.Revision.

In this part,ask the students to remember some words about the nature and environment.

Some words about the climate,weather,animals,plants,seasons and so on.

Step4.A free talk.

Question: What should we do to save the earth?

The students may have different answers.Then the teacher shows the students some pictures to see the environmental problems.

Step 5.Having a s discussion.

Question: How to solve these environmental problems?

In this part, train the students’speaking and writing ability.

Give the students a chart, ask them try to finish the chart in their own words

Step 6.A writing mind.

In this part,give the students a writing mind about how to protect the environment. Tell the students how to write this kind of composition.

Pay attention to the three parts: Beginning, Body and Ending.

Train the students’ writing ability.

Step7.中考链接。

Ask the students to finish the passage with the given words.
