（二）不定冠词a和an的用法区别
a用在辅音音素开头的单词前，an 用在元音音素开头的单词前。判断一个单词是元音开头还是辅音开头，要根据其读音，而不是首字母。
an apple an orange an honest boy
an hour an unhappy an egg
不见元音不加an, 不看字母看发音.
(三)定冠词the 的用法
l）特指某人或某物。
桌子上的这本书是我的。
The book on the desk is mine．
2）指上文提到过的人或物。
这是一个苹果。这个苹果是我的。
This is an apple. The apple is mine.
3）用在世上独一无二的事物名词前。
the sun, the sky, the earth, the world, etc.
4）用在序数词和形容词最高级前。
我班里最优秀的学生是那个最矮的男孩。
The best student in my class is the shortest boy.
5）用在山脉、江河、海洋、岛等名词前。
the Pacific, the Yellow River, the Red Sea, the Great Wall, etc.
6)用在姓氏复数形式之前,表示“某某一家”或“某某夫妇”。
the Greens, the Blacks, etc.
7）用在乐器名词前。
the piano, the violin, the guitar, etc.
8）指世纪的某个年代
20世纪90年代
in the 1990's
21世纪
in the 21 century
9）表示一类人或事物。
the old, the rich, the living, etc.
