1、进一步明确容词和副词比较级和最高级的规则变化和不规则变化的构成；
2、熟练掌握形容词和副词比较级和最高级常见的几种特殊用法。
教学过程：
Step 1：Leading in
Let’s chant. ( ask the students to read the words together)
Step 2：Complete the chart
Review the regular changes and irregular changes in the comparative and superlative of adjectives and adverbs.
Step 3：Positive （同级比较）
1. Ask the students to do the exercises and try to summarize the usage of the positive degrees.
2. Check the answers.
3. Write down the tips.
（1）同级比较肯定用“as +形容词?/?副词原级+ as”结构；否定用“not as / so +形容词?/?副词原级+ as”?结构。
（2）当形容词或副词前有quite, very, rather, too, so等词修饰（具有比较的含义），要用形容词或副词原级。
Step 4：Comparative（两者之间的比较）
1. Ask the students to do the exercises and try to summarize the usage of the comparative degrees.
2. Check the answers.
3.Write down the tips.
（1）形容词?/?副词比较级+ than,表示一者比另一者更……
（2）much, a lot, a bit, a little, even修饰比较级，表示程度。
（3）“比较级+ and +比较级”表示“越来越……”注意：如果是多音节的形容词?/?副词用此结构时，应为“more and more +形容词?/?副词原级”
（4）“the +?比较级(+其他), the +?比较级(+其他)”结构表示“越……，越……”
（5）当比较范围为短语of the two时，比较级前要加the
（6）比较级?+ than any other +?单数名词或是比较级+than the other+复数名词，都表示“比其他任何……都……”
（7）否定词+比较级，表示“再没有比……更……的了”。
