Teaching procedure:

Step1:warming up

= 1 \* GB3 ① Sing the song: My little Bicycle

= 2 \* GB3 ② Free talk

Learn word: share bike.

(design intent: This song will help students relax and get ready for the new lesson.)

Step 2:Revision

= 1 \* GB3 ① Review the words about transportation.

= 2 \* GB3 ② Review sentence: How do you go to school?

(design intent: Review the words and sentences about vehicles to help students get enough input, so that to output in the latter task.)

Step 3:Presentation

1.Listen ,watch ,think and answer questions.

Q1:Who is she?

A1:She is Wang Tao’s aunt.

Q2:Where is she from?

A2:She is from Taiwan.

(design intent: These two questions are understandable and necessary for students ,after listening they can get the answers and have a main understanding of this lesson.)

2.Listen,watch ,think and choose.

Does she go to Taiwan by train ?

(design intent: this step is to teach the new and important sentence. I set the choosing task to guide students to think. While checking the answers ,they will also learn about the new words.)

3.Ask and answer according to real situation.(choose one picture)

Use sentence: Does he/she go to…by…?

Yes, he/she does.

No, he/she doesn’t.

(design intent: this step is to practise the sentence pattern. Learning language in need is effective and the materials form the real life of students will create an atmosphere of language learning. So here I use pictures of teachers and classmates which the students are familiar with to design this task. )
