2. 能听懂会说I need to go to… How can I get there? Go straight. Then turn left / turn right.

straight发音教学，以及right 和 left 的区分。

五、教具准备

1. 图片：

①文本中出现的男士和女士的图片 ②医院图片 ③马路图片，向左，向右，直走图片。

2. PPT。

六、教学过程

Step 1. Warm-up and lead-in

1. Greetings.

2. Let’s say a chant. 首先，教师出示并播放韵律诗：How Can I Get to the Zoo？The zoo,the zoo. How can I go to the zoo? Go straight. Go straight. Take Bus Eight.Take Bus Eight后，教师示范动作，边说韵律诗边拍手。最后，全体生一起边拍手边跟着录音说韵律诗。

Step 2. Review

Who is faster? 教师出示train station, cinema, museum, supermarket, park，bus stop, library, school的图片，学生快速抢答。

出示地图1(学校到马銮湾），教师问: “ If the place I want to go is far away，how can I get there?”引导学生回答：“ You can take a bus or a taxi.”

出示地图2（学校到中兴电影院），教师问：“ If the place I want to go is near , how can I get there?”引导学生思考。

Step 3. Presentation (New words and sentences )

整体感知课文

.教师出示本文第一幅插图，让生通过直观的图片自然地学习 “man” “woman” ，This is a ____.对比“old man” 理解“young man” “young woman”这几个词汇。让生看文中男士受伤图片并思考 Q1： What’s wrong with the young man?

.教师指着第二幅插图说：The young man fell down from the bike. He hurt his leg. What does the young man need to do? 引出hospital这个单词。

教师出示第三幅图，Who will help the young man? Yes, the woman. And what do you think of the woman? 引导学生回答kind、nice、friendly。If you are there,what will you do ?进行情感教育。

教师播放课文动画，学生边看边听，整体感知课文。

.Learn Paragraph 1

教师：The young man hurt his leg ,so he said that I need to go the hospital.学习句型I need to go to the hospital.（板书）

PPT出现情景对本句型进行操练：情景1.我需要去超市；情景2.我需要去上学：情景3.我需要去睡觉。
