【教学内容分析】
一般过去时是初一年级的学生比较熟悉的一个语法点，因为在小学的学习中有一定的基础。本节课主要解决一般过去时的基本结构（含义、变化规则、读音、时间状语和句型变换），重点解决学生在小学学习了一般过去时之后仍存在的难点和易错点。
学生对四大名著之一《西游记》有一定的接触和了解，比较感兴趣，故将《西游记》“三打白骨精”——“化缘”——“续写故事”三个情节贯穿整节课，形成链式情境。学生通过一定的观察、归纳和总结去复习语法规则，最后在语境中操练目标语法，从而培养他们的口头表达能力和综合运用能力。
【学情分析】
学生思维活跃，有一定的基础，并对中国传统文化的话题相对感兴趣。为了有针对性地开展教学任务，摸清学生在一般过去时学习中所存在的问题，我特意编制出一份《关于一般过去时学习的调查问卷》。通过问卷调查，我发现学生在一般过去时的含义、读音和句型变换中存在比较大的问题，因此本节课将围绕调查问卷的调查结果来开展教学。
