Warm-up Watch a video:

Phonics song.

Greetings and leading in:

Introduce Jade cat

1.Ss watch the video and sing songs with action .

2.Ss say ‘Hello’ Jade cat.

3. Ss are divided into 2 groups 1.伴随着Phonics song开启语音学习之旅,回顾复习6个原因字母短发音,学生在轻松愉快的环境中热身。

Step II.

Presentation and practice

I .Presentation

Teach ‘a,e,i,o,u’ and ‘a-e,e,i-e,o-e,u-e’ sounds in words.

Question: Who’s he?

Present a story about Jade:

The cat has a cake.

He got some coke.

He likes milk.

He is fun and cute.

Stick the words with ‘a,e,i,o,u’ and ‘a-e,e,i-e,o-e,u-e’

and set the examples to spell the words.

Lead Ss to try to read the words.

II. Practice

1. Read aloud

To check Ss know the rules or not.

Ss try to describe Jade cat:

The cat has a cake.
