教师导语:Today we will continue to learn Famous People

T:Who is he? S: Hans Christian Aderson

Where is he from? Why is he famous?

Because he wrote many fairy tales for children What story do you know?

T:Who is he? Jean Henri Fabre  

Where is he from? Why is he famous?

T:Who is she? Helen Keller  

Where is she from? Why is she famous?

Because she helped the deaf and blind people.

She wrote many books. Do you the most famous one?

【设计意图】在阅读之前,恰当的、新颖的导入能吸引学生眼球,正所谓好的开始是成功的一半,只有当学生想知道发生了什么事情,这才是阅读成功的开始。

二、While reading

阅读中二、阅读中处理好练习设计的梯度。

1.导语 T:These people have passed away for many years, Why do we still remember them ?

Because now we can read their books.

2 . Lead in

T:Look, who is she?

If I show you another picture, all of you will know her.

Yes, she is the author of the Harry Potter books.

Her name is J.K. Rowling.

What do you know about J.K. Rowling? (学生自由发言)

What do you want to know about her ? (出示人物头像)

【设计意图】在现实教学中我们可以发现,我们的学生对教师的提问可以对答如流,但是学生用英语提问的能力却与之相距甚远。培养学生提问的能力有助于学生养成按意群阅读的良好习惯,提高阅读的速度及效率。在教学中,我给学生机会进行提问,其目的就是在教学中逐步培养学生提问的能力。
