Step 1: Warm up & Revise

1.Greeting and free talk.?

T: Hello! Boys and girls. /Nice to meet you. / Are you happy?

Ss: Hello! / Nice to meet you, too. / …

(Purpose:Closer?the?distance?between?T?and?Ss.To?create?a?harmonious?relationship?between?teachers?and?students?and?the?atmosphere?of?English)

2. Look and say (PK)

T point nose, mouth…one by one, Ss say them in English quickly.

(Purpose: Revise the words and sentence: I have… PK game aroused Ss’ enthusiasm to speak English.)

3. Let’s say it (Lesson8)

(Purpose: Revise, base “Let’s say it” of Lesson 9 on and lead-in new lesson)

Step 2?Presentation?& Practice

1. Use video to present monkey, have Ss repeat and say hello to the monkey.

2. Use picture card to teach reading “monkey”. Write down “monkey” on the board, have Ss read one by one. Put up the picture under the word “monkey” on the board, Ss say hello to it.

3. Use CAI to present a big monkey and a little monkey. Write down “a little” on the board, have several Ss act teacher to teach reading “a little monkey”.

4. Practice: Use CAI to present some pictures, Ss look, choose and say.

(Purpose: Help Ss to understand and use “little”.)
