一、Teaching procedures:

Step 1 Warm up

Greetings: Stand up. Good morning, boys and girls. Many

animals are in our class today. Are you ready for the class?

设计意图:互相亲切的问候,自然把学生带入到学习英语的氛围中,为下一步的教学做了一个良好的开端。

Show color cards.

T: Look! I have some color cards. Do you have many color cards? Show me blue/red/white/black/brown. They are many beautiful colors. So today we are going to have a new lesson. Unit 3 Colors, Lesson 18.

设计意图:学生通过游戏,复习了之前一节课学习的颜色,并引出本节课课题,巧妙点题,流畅自然。并对下一步学习颜色作了很好地铺垫。

Step 2 Presentation

Free talk:

T: Look! I have a box. What’s in my box? Can you guess? A book? Maybe. Look! It’s a flower. (Show a real flower.)And it’s a flower, too. (on ppt)

Present the word.

Ask two groups to read it row by row.

设计意图:通过猜测盒子里的物品,导入单词花的教学,引发孩子学习的兴趣。

Show some different colorful flowers on ppt. Then let

students read.

设计意图:通过展示多种不同颜色的花儿,让学生边复习颜色边巩固flower的发音,并且拓展了学生们的词汇量,非常有效的巩固方法。

3. The teacher show more flowers and say: Let’s count.

T: I have more flowers. How beautiful. Let’s count. One flower, two flowers, three flowers, four flowers. They are some beautiful flowers.
