Step1:Lead-in

Show students a video clips about jobs, then sing a song together. ( What does he do?)

After singing this song, students should answer the following question:

There are so many jobs, what are they?

Let’s play a game. (Brain storming)

Step2: Presentation

1.Look at the picture, lead in the sentence : Everyone has something to do.

Free talk: What does your father do? / What does your mother do?

Lead-in new words and new sentences:

Cook: He is a cook. He cooks noodles.

Cleaner:He is a cleaner. He cleans our streets.

Taxi driver: He is a taxi driver. He drives a taxi.

(单词的操练,可以用到大小声,男生女生分角色读、Hide and seek等。

句子的操练,可以用到句子接龙、千层浪等。)

找学生总结第三人称的变化规律

Step 3: Practice

Listen to the dialogue and find out the following questions’ answer:

How does the cleaner help people?

How does the bus driver help the students?
