Step I. Warm up

1. Greetings:

T:Good morning, boys and girls! ----Ss: Good morning, Miss Song!

T: How are you today? ----Ss: I'm fine, thank you. And how are you?

T: I'm fine, too. Thank you!

2. Revision:

T: Now, let’s review the chant of the persons:

“我是I,你是you…,Ok?”----Ss: Ok!

设计意图:通过复习人称小律动,再到快速抢答人称和be动词的搭配,让学生复习和巩固旧知,同时也为新课中介绍父母职业时做了铺垫。

Step II. Presentation:

1. Lead in:

T: I’m a teacher, teacher is my job. What’s your job?

Ss: Students!

T: Yes! You’re students. So, everyone has their jobs. Today, we’ll talk about your parents’ jobs. First, let’s look at the pictures of different jobs on screen, and you can guess what are they, Ok?

Ss: Ok!

设计意图:通过教师介绍自己的职业,到询问学生的职业是什么,一步步引导学生走进今天的主题。运用图片的方式引出各种职业,可以让学生直观清晰的认识每一个职业。

2. Learn the new words: teacher, nurse, doctor, bus driver, fireman

Input(输入): Look and guess the first job. What does she do?

Practice(练习): a. Correct pronunciation

b. Games (男女读;分组读;高低声读;你做我猜)

c. Group work.

Outcome(输出): a. Translation between Chinese and English.

b. Quick response.
