Step1 Warming up

T: How are you?

T: Show me your hands. Point to the window and point to the door.Point to the desk and point to the chair.Point to the dog and point to the cat.

T shows some beautiful pictures for students to learn the new words.( Let the students read new words by themselves)

T shows a picture of a monster and asks: Is it a monster?(Teach the students to answer: Yes,it is and then let students to say the sentences by themselves)

T: Today we are going to learn Module 8 Unit 1 Is it a monster?(students read the title together)

T shows some pictures, let students practice the sentences:Yes,it is/No, it isn't.

T:Open your books and turn to page44.(Let students watch the video and understand the dialogue.)

T plays the video for the second time and asks students to follow .
