3. 情感目标:通过学习这篇文章,要让孩子们坚持自己的爱好,发挥自己的特长爱好。

三.教学重点:

因为是一篇阅读课,所以本课的重点在于培养和发展学生阅读能力,在有效时间内提高阅读效率,同时让学生在最短时间找到故事发生的背景和事件经过、高潮与结局,抓住主要内容。

四.教学方法:

?? ?国家《英语课程标准》明确提出“本课程倡导任务型的教学模式”, 所以在这节课中,本人运用任务型教学,通过呈现任务、准备任务和完成任务三部曲让学生在课堂中学习新的知识与技能,通过结对练习等活动培养学生运用英语进行交际的能力。同时利用多媒体把动画、图片、声音、图表、文字材料幻灯片等组成的课件展示给学生,开阔学生视野,融入时代精神,使课堂“鲜活”起来!

五.教学设计过程:

??step 1:?warming–up activities

1. Free talk

2. To show the students pictures of family,

3. To ask the students to ask and answer:, “Who are they?”

??step 2: reading

(一)listening and skimming

1. Who are they ?

2. What are their names?

3. What’s the big surprise ?

(二)scanning: read the text again, Ask the students to read get the general idea of each paragraph. Then ask some questions

1. How is Leo?

2. How is Alex ?

3. Waht’s the big surprise?

Let Ss read and answer.

1.Fill in the blanks and retell this story.

Alex and Leo were brothers. They were _____, but they were very______. Leo was a very_____ _____. He ______ hard at school. Every day after school he _____ his homework. He ______ his mother.
